On August 6 this year, Sajab Vintage set off on an adventure. The journey began at our location in Linghem, when we received a call about a large motorcycle collection up north. After years of handling classic vehicles, we are no strangers to selling vintage motorcycles and cars – but this time the challenge wasn’t the bikes themselves, it was the trip!
A total of 960 kilometers north – 70 kilometers further than Berlin!
Armed with blankets, tie-down straps, and a great sense of excitement, we hit the road. On the way back, our truck carried 40 carefully packed motorcycles. The very first bike we loaded was a Husqvarna 110SV from 1933, and around number 20 came a Saroléa 24T. Memory fails at some point, but among the last five was a true collector’s favorite: a Norton Commando 850 from 1974.
This auction is the first of two, and we decided to call it Collection from the North – since that’s exactly where the journey took us. Why complicate things?
