We are heading towards what is sometimes referred to as the garden of Sweden - Blekinge. There, Ekenbergs Auktioner has filled the barns, polished the display cases, and cataloged about 70 lots with items manufactured in Sweden's second smallest province. Not less than four traditional costumes are offered, and on the textile side, there are also seat cushions and several articles from the Blekinge embroidery tradition. Astrid Nordgren is represented with several ceramic pieces, as well as woodwork from local artisans. For those interested in history, a topographic view "öfver Carlskrona län eller Blekinge," published in 1848, is presented.
