Barcelona Auctions

Description

To understand the creation of BarcelonaAuctions we must go back to 1982, when the holding started to sell art and antiques under the name of “Sala Barna”, an auction house placed at Sant Eusebi Street in Barcelona. In 1997, the company changed its name to “ARCE Subastas” as well as its location to Santaló Street.

In 2012, with new partners, “Sala de Ventas Barcelona” opened its doors at Aragó Street to finally move its headquarters to Rossellón Street in 2015.

Now, focused on becoming a growing company with both national and global presence on the art market, Arce Subastas and Sala de Ventas decided to partner with Auctionet, the leading online art market place in Northern Europe.

This is the background of BarcelonaAuctions, a whole new project with a more dynamic concept. On one side, there will be online auctions with new lots up for sale every day. On the other side, five hammer auctions every year, where the art collector will be able to find a selection of exclusive pieces of jewellery, watches, fine art and antiques.
