"The Scandinavian, tightly modern Axamo, designed by the factory's responsible designer Ingemar Thillmark, was made in Bangkok teak with a back and seat cushion in deep-stitched leather, alternatively textile. Both the back and the seat were upholstered with a durable foam rubber which, on many examples, is still surprisingly fresh today - unlike one of the factory's other pieces of furniture.
