For the third time, Gomér & Andersson Nyköping invites us into the densely packed collector’s home from Södermanland. You have to duck, weave, and watch your step so as not to knock anything over. There’s an abundance of treasures here. This time, we are offered a wealth of wooden figures, stoneware by Lisa Larson, mid-century Swedish lighting in various forms, and Swedish modernist painting. A functionalist lamp from KF stands out, as does Wilhelm Kåge’s Surrea vase, and a beautifully crafted wall pendulum will delight connoisseurs.
Perhaps the most spectacular piece is Aimo Ossi Kalevi’s pierced copper wall lamp, the finest feet are found on the plump 1940s armchairs, and the most delightfully Easter-themed is undoubtedly Ingrid Atterberg’s egg tureen.
