Karl-Erik Olsson "Snogeröd" (1927–1995) was a beloved self-taught artist best known as "the dog painter", but also had a passionate interest in aviation and was moreover an accomplished photographer. He grew up in and later settled at the old Snogeröd railway station, which gave him his nickname. From the artist's estate now comes a large number of works, both with and without dogs.
