Antique South- and Mesoamerican items

Stockholms Auktionsverk Globen has set the time machine several hundred years back to South and Mesoamerican cultures. There are 50 lots waiting there, which can be counted as truly ancient with all the margin in the world. If you are particularly amused by anthropomorphic and phytomorphic objects, perhaps you can chuckle at that frog or try to figure out which fruit is being imitated in one of the vessels from the Chimu culture. However, the main item of the auction is something entirely different. It is a textile likely from the Paracas culture, with over 2,000 years of history. In addition to this, several textiles, stirrup vessels, and many other delightful items for those who appreciate ancient ceramics are also offered.
