Snuff bottles came to Chinese culture through the American culture during the 17th century. They would serve to carry tobacco, and later also to carry perfume. Perfect for transporting, they measure between 5 and 8 cm approximately. A collection of more than 40 Chinese snuff bottles, made of materials such as malachite, hand-painted glass, agate and jadeite, are going up for auction. They emphasize its good state of conservation, made during the first half of the 20th century.
