Complete set of documentation on the philosopher and religious Jaume
Balmes (Vic, 1810-1848) on the occasion of the centenary of his death.
- 4 Vintage black and white photographs, 1948: Visit of the Caudillo, Franco in
Town Hall balcony, Festivities held in the Plaça Major de Vic and Arc de Triomphe
ephemeral (photographer Roqué Cabrera, Vic).
- Several prints, one of them lithographic made by Villamil, mid-century
XIX.
- Complete set of covers, press clippings from newspapers such as “Destino”,
“La Vanguardia”, “Diario de Barcelona” (between 1943 and 1949) that collect
information about Jaime Balmes, his figure, thought, philosophy and
celebrations and tributes surrounding his figure.
- Full issue of the magazine “Ausona”, Vic, June 4, 1949, number 386,
special tribute to Jaime Balmes (full magazine), 36 pages.
