Otto Wild (1898-1971), Ketelswarf on Hallig Langeneß with block mill, oil on canvas, signed, ca. 50 x 70 cm, with frame approx. 64 x 84 cm.

Otto Wild attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg. In the 1920s, he traveled to Worpswede in the footsteps of Otto Modersohn, where he developed his love for landscape painting and an impressionist style of painting. At the end of the 1920s, he moved to Hamburg, where many harbor motifs were created.
