Kolonn’s Asian Sale invites you on a journey through Asia’s rich artistic heritage, where each object not only carries history but also conveys a timeless beauty and a vivid expression.
Among the highlights is a diverse and refined selection of porcelain from the Qing dynasty, showcasing the finesse of craftsmanship and the elegance of traditional design. The breadth of the collection is further reflected in unique pieces such as a Witong Zouyin copper vase and a Totai Shippo cloisonné-on-ceramic vase, where the unusual combination of materials creates a colorful and tactile experience.
Graphic art is represented in both classical and modern forms, ranging from Japanese woodblock prints by masters such as Kunichika Toyohara and Kunisada Toyokuni, to innovative works like a set of six lithographs by Go Mishima, alongside prints by Hiroshi Yoshida. Completing the selection is a poetic watercolor by South Korean artist Pak No-Soo, whose brushstrokes seamlessly weave together tradition and the contemporary.
