Ahead of the European Equestrian Championships in Gothenburg, the artist Shai Dahan, on behalf of Gothenburg & Co, has painted ten unique fiberglass horses in life size with different themes. Before the championship, the horses have been placed at various locations in the central city and at arrival points to the city such as Landvetter, Stena Terminalen and Centralstationen. Two of the horses are now being auctioned off for the benefit of the Fundraising Foundation for Queen Silvia's Children's and Youth Hospital. The horses that are auctioned off are the horse with an EC motif and the horse with a water theme.

Width: 50 cm at the widest part of the horse. Weight: approx. 50 kg. The horses are weatherproof through several layers of coating. The horses are mounted on a pallet (which can be lifted with a pallet lifter). You lift them from behind to get balance. Foundation Foundation in pallet construction 900x1900x160mm. To prevent the horse from falling over or the legs coming off if someone climbs up, steel pipes are inserted into the horse's legs and fixed with joint foam. The demarcation is made with 4 posts in the corners, these are made of a flexible material and the demarcation is made of black 8mm rubber cord, all so that it will not be possible to step on the horse, (posts and cord flex, cannot be stood on).
The auction "Bid on joy" is a collaboration between the Fundraising Foundation for Queen Silvia's Children's and Youth Hospital and Gothenburg Auktionsverk. The proceeds go to things, environments and experiences that can contribute to more joy, a higher quality of life and faster recovery for children, young people and families at the hospital, Sweden's largest of its kind, with patients from all over the country. In the auction you can not only buy valuable collector's items, you also make a daily and concrete difference for a large number of children, young people and families affected by various diseases.
The artificial horses are sold in collaboration with FEI Longines EC I Equestrian and Göteborg & Co.
